My thoughts on ANZAC day
ANZAC day means to me that I respect the brave young men and women that fought in all wars and conflicts. To me it also means that I thank the men and women that created Australia’s reputation.

I thank all the men that gave there lives to protect there country. It wasn’t just the people that had to fight that got all the glory there was the nurses, cooks, navigator sand there was so many more jobs. My great, great grandfather was a cook in Kadoka and received many medals.
That is my thoughts on ANZAC day.

about my school

I love my school. I live just up the block from it so I can walk to school. I started in prep and I plan to do high school here to. We have 270 people at my school so you get to have lots of time with your teacher if you don’t understand something.

Adolph Hitler

Adolph Hitler was a very powerful man during the stages of world war 2.When he was elected in 1933 he straight away stopped there from being any more elections in Germany. Hitler had an army called the Nazis and his goal was to capture all the Jewish people and put them into concentration camps set up all over Germany. Hitler’s army went into houses and captured the Jews. The Jewish people did not no what the concentration camps were until they got in there but not many of them got out.

Not long after the Jewish were put in the camps world war 2 broke out and it was Hitler onto the world. Germany invaded Poland with out warning and then Britten and France were at war with Germany. Soon after America , Australia , New Zealand, south Africa and Canada were in the war too. Six years went by and then there was the d-day the invasion of Normandy.

Germany was under attack and Hitler didn’t know what to do so he weakly killed himself in his bunker in Berlin to leave Germany to be defeated.

Crazy man comes to stay

i made this story for the 1001 flat tales program

It was a bright sunny day when Mum and Dad came home with this guy they just picket up of the road. He looks like this man I saw on the news today that just killed tree men on the sidewalk. “Is he staying the night?’ I asked. “Yep in your room.” Just the thought of some guy Mum and Dad picket up of the road sleeping in my room gave me the shivers.
I was watching TV that night when a herd a scream that sounded like Mum so I ran up stairs and I looked around for her. Crazy man said that she went out for some milk. So I walk back down the stairs thinking Mum wouldn’t scream for milk would she? I turn on the TV again and I here another scream that sounds like Dad. Once again I run up the stairs and look around for dad and the crazy man says he went after Mum. I started to think that this guy killed my parents! I quickly make up a plan to hit him over the head with one of Dad’s golf clubs when he falls asleep and then call the cops.
It was 11 o’clock and he just fell asleep so I marched up to my room and he was sleeping like a baby so I gave him a good wack over the head with the golf club. He was out like a light. Suddenly I hear that front door open thinking that it’s one of his gang members come to save him but it’s Mum’s voice wanting crazy man to come down stairs. “ He’s asleep “ I yell. “Wake him up then “ mum screams back. “ He was tired and said not to wake him up” Ok then don’t wake him up.”
The next morning I’m eating my coco pops when crazy man comes down stairs with a huge egg on his head. “Does anyone know anything about my head?” No sorry” I say. “Mum I think I’ll go to school early today.”

What I did this term

This term we learnt lots things involving writing. We learnt to put adjectives in our writing and to put similes. This is an example of a simile. The rain was falling on the roof like nails dropping onto tin.
.I thought I handed in my work quickly.
.I thought my work was pretty tourer.
.I kept my locker clean.

I am happy with what I’ve learnt this term and I think I need to keep up everything I’ve learnt . next term I hope to get as much out of it as I did is term

Happy Mothers day mum

I see you ironing the clothes and watching Bold and the Beautiful when the telephone rings and guess who it is Fiona. Your on the phone for two hours and you have to go before the ironing burns. Finely you get some time to do the things you like, like doing a crossword or reading a book about African kids.

I see you on your walk around Hawkesdale with carrots at your side. You carry a stick to chase off the swooping magpies that make you shriek.

The Rhine River flows through western Germany. It is the most important river in Germany

The Black Forest is in south west Germany.
Oktoberfest festival is a huge festival in Germany. It attracts thousands of people.

After Germany’s defeat in world war 11 most of the country was damaged.

From 1945 to 1990 Germany was divided into to countries. West and East Germany only west Germany had a democracy. The capital Berlin was also divided into West and East. West belonged to West Germany and East belonged to East. Although west Germany had a different capital called Bonn. But in 1990 West and East Germany became on again.

The population of Germany is 82,400,000 people

Germans speak Germen

The highest point in Germany is Mt Zugspitze and it is 2,962 meters high.

Germanys area is 357,000 square kilometres
