  • The R thought the there was 377 or 378 days in a year.
  • The Roman calendar was called Julian.
  • They had dials so the shadow of the sun would tell them what time of the day it was.
  • The days were named after planets all except for Sunday. It was called the Lord’s Day.
  • The sevan day week was not apart of the Roman way of life untill later on in there history in 321 ad.
  • Once a year they also had market week which was held over an 8 day week.
  • They also had clocks that were called water clocks.

The project is to take a photo of the same thing every month and post it on our blog ( Techno6). The project has been postponed because of hurricane Sue. The class has not been to school because of this. The photos will show the changes in the months and seasons of the year. The project will go on for 1 year and will have to do it when we are in year seven. Our photo is of our tea house and all the beautiful flowers that will blossom as the moths go by. the change wont be seen as much as ours for the school in Florida because they are very close to the equator.

The cost was $2 and half of the money raised goes to future SRC days and the other goes to the heat fondation. We had to come to school in our football colours our uniform. I barrick for Essendon so I came in Red and Black. We had a kick of and all the kids in the Primary school got a kick to see how far they could kick a footy.
